WAIMEA, HAWAII

Remodel

Nestled in the picturesque town of Waimea on the Big Island of Hawaii, this remodeled home seamlessly combines classic Hawaiian charm with contemporary elegance. The transformation of this residence involved a thoughtful refresh that pays homage to its traditional roots while embracing a modern aesthetic.

One of the key features of this home’s transformation is the removal of walls, creating an open and airy floor plan that invites the breathtaking natural beauty of Waimea’s green pastures indoors. The living spaces flow seamlessly, allowing for a harmonious connection between the various areas of the home. Large windows and glass doors amplify the abundance of natural light, providing panoramic views of the lush surroundings and allowing the tropical breeze to permeate throughout.

The design concept focuses on incorporating modern finishes that complement the timeless Hawaiian architecture. Crisp lines, neutral tones, and a palette inspired by the island’s natural elements lend a contemporary touch to the interior.
